Time Vampires

We all know who they are. They are the people that suck the life out of you. They spend every moment they can of your precious time. They are like a leech or another form of parasite, just trying to get every little bit of you and drag you down until you are drained bone dry of energy.

These people are Time Vampires.

I am assuming you are like the rest of us, a good person just trying to help them out. It usually starts out with something small or miniscule. You give them an inch and they try to take a mile. Before you know it, they start taking up a lot of your time. You are not trying to be rude, but you have other tasks at hand, but they keep nagging and can even act like their problem is the only one that matters at the moment.

How do we handle Time Vampires?

I truly enjoy helping others. I enjoy seeing their progress, success, and hear them talk about their future. I have a couple concerns though. Our time is very limited. A lot of our schedules are already planned for us before the day even starts. There are 24 hours in the day. If I get 8 hours of sleep to start off I’m down to 16 hours. I spend an average of at least 12 working on business, that means I’m now down to 4 hours. I like to workout and play sports on a regular basis, there are another 2 hours. Now I’m down to 2 hours. During these final 2 hours I try to dedicate what I can…
